There will be from 1. July aplied new rules for charging EU VAT rates that will be chosen according the billing country. The other (Non. EU) countries will get the product prices (inc. SK VAT) that are shown in the shop. The EU countries, if other than 20% VAT will have the adjustment made during the checking out process. This change is still in a testing stage so apologies and possibly report any weird calculations.

A wide open cup with natural colouring of the upper edge, just today I found out that old sheng pu-erh teas taste great out of it, even they are good once they are cool/cold.
This piece come from a last woodfired teaware by Jiri Duchek and Martin Hanus. It is made of bizen style as we might call it. A Japanese traditional bizen ware made of local clay that is mixed with tiny river white gravel/stones. These stones won’t shrink during firing and they will come out of the surface, many times sticking out, a cracks are created around these stones, these and other cracks are desirable in this style of tea ware. Some tea ware is smoothen so that the sticking out stones are removed.
I asked Jiri Duchek to have some pieces that have these stones left, a kind of hard-core wabi sabi style. There are two waste water pots such and this is one of them. High-end bizen ware is fired many times over and over, getting more and more cracks and natural glaze layers and marks.
This one is fired only once as I am not sure there will be people willing to pay a triple price. Occasional cracks are not a fault rather a valuable mark of this ware. Bizen is fired usually longer and could take several days. In this occasion was fired for 36 hours.
