About:
A nicely formed middle sized black teapot from Jiri. On photos the colouring can be seen, the slight red zones and the metalic mark on one side. Nice pour and lid fit.

A teapot of mystery, both the making process, the firing side, used also charcoal and the same time the effect of this ceramic slip on tea.

This and further coming pieces are coming from a batch of 29 teapots made for pu-erh.sk.

The teapot is not glazed neither inside nor outside. Jiri Duchek just told me that these teapots should be more studied, even for myself I am discovering new ‘features’ of this clay fired to black mat colour. He says that it is good to pour tea over the teapot time to time so that they/teapots will ‘come into blossom’.

Notice the influence of a slight change of light on a colour of the teapot.

I might say tea will taste like ‘purified’ mountain spring water compared to city tap water. This of course will make your tea taste different as in other teapots you have. In tea you will discover new mellow, softer and watering notes.

I noticed that tea is more body friendly after a bath in this teapot. I mean here a comfortable feeling around stomach are. Also the energy is like pronounced when some teas I have in it.
