Unusual, rather Czech traditional motives plate that Jiri makes for his mugs.
I tried it a few times and it brings a new aspect to a tea session. When combined with a mat and a teapot it all suits well.
Hand painted with an old kind of style, talked to Jiri about them, telling that like old Roman paintings and he says that these goes back to preRoman, Greek and even Minoan civilization times.
Each piece of a batch of ceramics made in 2021 will have one additional photo. These images are taken during a visit of Jiri Duchek from its surrounding, nature, simply places where he lives and creates his pieces.
This shot is from a cemetery by the pottery village, the starting point to track the history of local pottery. The potters were german nationality/minority that lived here (I assume) until the end of II world war.
