A cup with thin walls, nicely shaped (visible circles and flowing down glaze), kohiky glazed plus amamori addition. What it is? There some sharp stones (in this cup tiny ones like red flowers) in the clay that sometime can be seen in the glaze. These rocks serves as a leaking or rather seeking/leaking points around which (when tea is in it and some time after) are formed flower like images. This cup has it, but how many I can’t guarantee. All is a thing of magic and destiny ?
I like personally the edge of this cup, grey like used one, evoking long time used bowls.
Each piece of a batch of ceramics made in 2021 will have one additional photo. These images are taken during a visit of Jiri Duchek from its surrounding, nature, simply places where he lives and creates his pieces.
Duchek’s kohiky_amamori #0301
Miska s tenkými stenami, s kohiky glazúrou a amamori prídavkom. Čo to je? V hline sú pridané ostré kamienky, ktoré miestami trčia s glazúry. Keď sa miska naplní čajom tak okolo týchto kamienkov sa vytváraju kventinkové obrazce.
