About:
This teapot I used for making tea during my last visit to Jiri Duchek in October. I made Qiaomu gushu in it. It was great to see again Jiri and talk about pottery, tea and this world.

This teapot clay contains a bit of locally sourced kaolin clay which is used for porcelain. The tea made of such a teapot has round, mild and pleasant taste, similar taste as achieved by pure porcelain teapots. The unglazed fired shred will be slowly aged and change its color. Each teapot has an unique shape, size, fire marks. The teapot surface is very smooth and nice to touch. The inside of the teapot is not glazed.
