A’winter’ cup with a thick white glaze that is overflowing and suddenly frozen. The unglazed parts are pure clay/ceramic slip being finely roasted in the kiln. This combination of white creamy glaze and darkish glossy ceramic slip is like combination of cold snow and warm fire burning inside a wooden hut.
