Sweet, very refined and delicate, strong aftertaste, a lot of flavours, capturing all the taste buds and still not disturbing or any sense agressive, very natural and tasty, roasted almonds at the background, smooth, delicate and long lasting taste, very captivating and addictive taste, unique kind of nutty bitterness, very calming and refreshing, thickness is present for many brews unchanged.
This teas is the same as last year Rareness. Comes from an ecological enviroment, remote, in Yibang mountain. The tea leaves come from two tea gardens, smaller one in Mangong village and the bigger (A bit further from Mangong) an old tea garden once given to a grandmother of the present owner by the local landlord. There are about 6 thousand tea trees that are very old, about 300 to 500 years, they are on a slope that is not on a direct sun and the tea trees grow very slowly.
Since last years ‘cat ears’ variety got very famous and its demands goes up, I was lucky to have reserved at least 3 kg of this amazing tea, I would say this is indeed an emperor cup of tea.
Personally I experienced very natural body feeling, for someone could be like nothing is happening but this tea rather puts the mind in natural state and the whole body in relaxed state.
This is rather an old variety of tea tree with lower tea leaves yield, these days hard find, there are tea trees with bigger and mainly smaller tea leaves, the fame of this tea is catching up and this might be the last year to offer as its price next year might be much higher.
This tea was tested for 200 pesticides and there were found none.
