Name:
Jura’s cup #0548JL2021c
Content and size of the cup:
120 ml, top diameter 8,2 cm, height 4,8 cm
About this piece:
A cup that might remind some of you old porcelain tea sets produced largely in the last century. Jura made two kind of glaze ones. This one goes from light blue, to greyish changing tones. It is nice to hold and drink coffee out of it but I believe also tea might be fine. May be nice to have such a cup when sharing tea with friends that don’t share our eastern culture moods.
This piece comes from a last firing of 2020 that ocurred during the winter solstice. The kiln was opened on 24th of December just for the Christmas dinner. What a nice scheduling by events happening. Meant differently by a Man and arranged the other way by Nature. I have not heard from Jura for several months and I was not expecting anything else in 2020 but a message came on Christmas. I thought this is a nice coincidence.
