Weight: 250 grams, tong of 4×250 grams
Country of origin: China, Yunnan province
Details:
all freshness of maocha gone, so if you look for this you won’t find it in this tea, rather ageing tones, herbal, sweetness, natural forest scents, strong tea that energy will naturally flow through your body, personally think that this tea came out really well
this new way of making a cake came on my mind during my last visit to Zhang Jia Wang family back in 2019, drinking their previous year maocha and wondering how well this tea aged within a year in their house, as a maocha, thought to ask them keep and store for me tea from each harvest and then my chinese friend helped to blend these also adding a double portion of spring 2020 and while pressing there was added a pinch of crab’s feet (herbal medicine) as done is some cakes by Tong Qing Hao (one in the shop also) and heard also Red Marks got such an ingredient
Pang Xie Jiao (crab’s feet herb) are picked/collected, growing on old tea trees, lately pretty expensive, these are from Bada mountain, from my experience they help the body to ‘digest’ the tea better, they also a kind speed up the maturation/ageing of tea
