About this piece:
A ming porcelain woodfired teacup with minimum ashes, wood fired at cone 12*.
This piece was placed at kiln where minimum ashes reached it. It is snow white and virgin, indeed a naked porcelain.
Made in Swiss mountain village and woodfired in Toscany, Italy in 2025.

*High Fire (Cone 8 to Cone 12):
Reaching temperatures between 1260°C and 1305°C (2300°F to 2381°F), these cones produce highly durable ceramics, often used for porcelain and stoneware both.
