The pick is created by the talented blacksmith Libor Mikus, a dedicated puerh drinker for more than 20 years who has also spent time working in a tea house. His deep familiarity with compressed puerh tea ensures that the tool is designed precisely for what serious puerh drinkers need when facing dense, stubborn cakes.

Forged from high-quality spring steel, the pick offers exceptional strength and resilience. Creating its finely tapered needle tip is a demanding process that requires true master craftsmanship.

Although the piece may appear simple—almost as if it were cast from a mold—it is in fact entirely hand-forged from high-carbon spring steel, a material commonly used for knives, springs, and other durable metal tools.
