About this piece:
this teapot is half handmade of Zi Ni clay, so called purple/violet clay. The teapot comes with a box.
The taste of tea is balanced, clear and pronounced. Zini clay is a bit different of Zhuni and Hongni clay. Its effect is close to these two clay but this one has more stoneware feel so that I usually use such for older, darker, more roasted teas.
Yixing unique feature is that it adds to teas a kind of integrity with a fell of umami efect.
