Name: GǔShù Yìwǔ Gāoshān dānzhū
Year: 2021 spring
Weight: 250 grams bing
Country of origin: China, Yunnan province
Details:
this is a release of 3 bings that I thought to share as I tasted this tea one day and it was so strong that I might say one of the strongest tea I ever had, in terms of strong and at the same tasty and pure with strong body feeling
this tea has for me all the attributes of genuine gushu with very tasty attributes and visible (feel able) body feelings and nevertheless a good impact on the mind too
I have written pretty long notes on this tea but I will mention only a few to have you space to reflect on this leaves unbiased
the most interesting note is that this tea, in terms of intensity is very similar to Lao Banzhang but as some would say Yiwu is more feminine feel, when this tea made strong it is so intoxicating that at some part of my tasting needed to slow down, also I must say that this tea is something perfectly balanced between wild Yiwu teas and ‘village’ teas (trees growing near villages), actually the last superlative I give here that this tea is made very well in processing side
A German puerh blog review here (written by Alex for the intial release of this tea)
