oldish notes of the first long rinse brew, a very good way to check the quality of storage, it is a magical point when sheng puerh enters the 20 years, the flavour of time is unmistakable there, it is nicely intermingled with the tea flavour, it is old now and a very old grandma cupboard is there too, not a beginner drink indeed, probably one needs experience, needs thousands of cups drunk and many years lived through, slowly the old time is washed off and the delicate Yiwu character shows its face, so good to drink old tea trees after 20 years, it’s like reminder of old times, the taste is now very balanced and enjoyable, can get really bitter when pushed too hard, Yiwu bitter? no way! some would say, these real teas get strong with their age, acquiring a mature old tea tree feel, later brews brings up exotic woods hints or one might say tree resin notes

They say Tongqing Hao is one of the first private bussiness producing pu-erh tea in Yiwu, was established in 1736, in various times of the previous century closed down and reopened again. This cake is a commemorative of 269 anniversary in 2005 following up 270 cake in the next year.
