Name: 5 oldest tea trees of PSZ ’25
Weight: loose, maocha
Whereabouts: Thailand, Mae Suai, Wawee organic tea farm
Details:
clean, pure, fresh maocha taste with the flash first brew, a very nice crystal clear flavour of spring tea, also the aroma reflects this pureness, the second flash brew brings an even more purity, sweetness, the third brew shows the thickness and depth of this tea, it is now more apparent that this is not an ordinary ‘material’, the body and especially the head ‘tea feeling’ gets strong, the fifth brew shows strong maocha gushu tea leaves typical flavour, at this point I still would not guess its thai origin, nice bitter sweetness with the sixth brew, woody and earthy notes with a mountain stream feel, a very elegant taste with the 7th brew, I wonder how Pang San Zhou can be so with a seleted trees only, they must have been the tastiest tea trees selected indeed, the 8th brew is full flavours and its like peak opening of this tea, the 9th very long brew produces a very drinkable thick maocha soup, a pleasent tickling Qi on the tongue playing, this tea I brewed later several times and still good and good, I finished sooner than the tea
these are 5 oldest selected tea tree leaves that come from Veian’s Pang San Zhou tea garden, a steep slope in a picturesque valley with a floating spring
most of 20 kilograms picked will be pressed into 250 grams tea cakes but I thought to present also the maocha version that I find very good
