Name: Gushu Gedeng ’25
Year: 2025 spring
Weight: 250 grams pressed cake
Country of origin: China, Yunnan province
Details:
balanced, sweetish, soft, fresh with no harsch notes of new maocha, nutty notes with more like keshu sweetness, bright and happy flavours, fresh corn flavour touch, it is like peach note in it, very fruity with bitter end, a very unique taste of Gedeng, it is sweet, bitter, fruity acidity with lingering bitter almonds or apricots kernel aftertaste, well balanced sweetness and bitterness, a very easy drink’erh’, a nice entry point for teas like ‘MangSheQing’ and ‘Rare5’, I mean for less experienced tea drinker this is tea is a good enough start and no need to go to ‘higher’ tea mentioned, this tea is again a long runner as with most of the gushu teas I offer,
all teas are tested with low minerality water, about 60 mg/l , it is mountain water but if you do not have such access to a mountain well, there are some good iceberg waters in shops, even cheap ones
