Year: 2024 spring

Whereabouts: China, Yunnan province
Details:
a lot of depth, even the first brews show highly defined tones, sharp and very tasty, after yesterday local tasting event where we had LBZ 2025, 2024 and 2013, this individual session is very different, such teas are enjoyable at group session but in a lonely one too, you get ofcourse a different experience but both are satisfying, the first opening brews are lighter but at the same time very ‘pronounced’, how that could be? simply it is a very nutritious tea so that it is recognized by so many of us, red water melon seeds, just one year passed and tea entered its fermentation which is not that prevalent but texture feel is thicker that the fresh 2025 one, once again came to my mind that appreciate one tea one has to drink it many times, just then ‘all the details are seen’ and more are to be found, highly structered with rare gushu forest tea trees notes, bitter grapefruit notes, sticky sweet bitterness, enjoyable energy feel, so this is a ‘special’ tea in some way and in some way it is a excelent gushu example that could be taken as a benchmark, restock of whole cakes might possible anytime soon
