Year: 2024, winter
Variety: Ruan Zhi (No.17 oolong)
Weight: loose or in zip bags from 20 grams
Whereabout: Myanmar (Burma), Shan state, Möng Tum
Details:
first the mind is confused, what is this, a black tea or a oolong tea?, the texture is oily from the start, sliding down the troat with an ease, the roast so nicely made that you hardly feel it as something separeted it simply fuses with the taste of tea, the taste is at some part as black tea but then a kind roses appear and this gets really interesting, you smell the cup and it gets crazy aromatic, so natural so good, I would say this is a black tea with softness and aromatics of oolong, flowers and red wine notes, sound funny but it tastes good
this tea comes from Myanmar where it is planted 1850 meters above sea level and has a cold climate almost all year round so that tea plants must be really resiliant, the tea garden is 100% chemical-free and the whole process of making tea is supervised by a Taiwanese tea master, baked in an electric kiln for complete 3 rounds
