light caramel notes with the first light brew, deep sweet ripe fruit hints the second brew, a strong but pleseant scent of strong roast, a longer steep are good for such heavy roasted tea, lingering sugary notes with nice charcoal toast, dry ripe sweet dates, the roast is that heavy and a very far from over roasted very oolong teas
the tea leaves come from Shan Lin Xi mountain and a tea farmer is one of the most booked out in Dong Ding, meaning his teas are ordered in advance, HongShui is name for a Dong Ding style roast, naming oolong teas that does not need to originate from Dong Ding mountain but also those that are Dong Ding teas, roasted the old way as used to in Dong Ding
The tea is roasted by the same charcoal master roaster as the Shan Lin Xi bug bitter, Bai Gu Shui Xians and Bai Gu four season.
