this is very early spring maocha to have a kind of appetizer from fresh tea leaves, a ‘big’ freshness in the tea soup, it is really hard put into words the spring energy encaptivated in flavours and scents, purity and roughness that is so tasty, I made the tea pretty hard so that the bitterness comes out as from a true gushu teas, when there is no bad taste after a few moments then the bitterness and the tea is good, it is the case here, it is so good as a good fresh spring tea, at this stage I love it after a winter time, the spring energy fills the veins and I feel strong and ready for another year, the great thing about gushu teas is that there is no this scratchy roughness, this very sharp one, this is let’s say a refined bitterness, or we cound say a polished one, a round one, at this stage a I would easily mistaken this tea with gushu Hekai, the richness of the brew keeps several brews, even with longer brews the tea soup is pretty tasty for some might be strong but for some hard-core pu-erh drinker a pure nectar
