limited pu-erh.sk production sheng pu-erh tea
These are retasting notes written in 2016. The material for this tea comes from small tea trees of age 40-70 years old trees. The returning sweetness shows in a cooler soup. There is less rooty, earthy characteristics like found in the Gushu Huazhu Liangzi brother. Very refreshing, crispy forest young tea trees pu-erh tea.
A very good example of small tea tree pu-erh for a comparison with the old tea tree Huazhu. Have it at the same time and compare. You will find the different characteristics that more deep taste, rooty hints, more honey in the gushu one.
I have visited Huazhu this year and left the village with a very good feeling of a ecological tea mountain. The people care for their tea trees. The tribe left their home about 300 years ago, they moved from one of 6 ancient tea mountains to find a new home. This was the time they established their oldest tea garden hidden in the forest. The tea trees are well set inside the forest growing in harmonious eco system, around 2200 metres above the sea level.
