Name: Ying hao tuo ’93/Yíng háo tuóchá
Year: 1993
Weight: only samples
Details:
the old aging notes goes insanly far, very condensed over riped baked plums, raisins, something very intense that stays in the mounth for a long time, an almost burnt bread crust, the previous notes are from the middle of the tea session but they tell the essence of this tea, I would say from my experience this is the best aged tea I had even compared to Red of Red Mark or Red Mark from 1980’s, still this tea is not that famous and it is still a few grams affordable, such old aging notes found in very old whiskey, coming from very oad wooden barrels still I have to admit this experience for someone who just want to try out of a curiosity as it could be even unpleasant experience
tea leaves sourced from Linchang area, this popular tea recipe/tuocha was made in 1997 for the last time as the Ying Hao factory closed down and has not opened for many upcoming years, the character tells the leaves come from old tea trees hidden in a forest
